Creating New History In A Monumental Building
Acquired in 1998, the FGC Grant Square Older Adult Club has earned city-wide recognition for its exceptional emergency preparedness, engaging outdoor activities, exciting trips, and a vibrant community of progressive older adults. Known for its lively events and warm atmosphere, the center is a place where every visit feels like a celebration filled with enlightenment and love.
The members of the Grant Square Older Adult Club are remarkably dedicated, with many traveling from far and wide to participate in its programs and activities each day. Since joining the Fort Greene Council family, daily attendance has grown by over 50%, with more than 75 members visiting regularly. Renowned for its spectacular parties and theatrical skits, Grant Square continues to be a cherished space where older adults connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
