Her care and compassion have made her not only respected, but deeply loved by everyone who knows her.
Her dedication to the Seth Low Older Adult Club goes beyond personal service. Ms. Davis has been a steadfast advocate for membership growth, personally encouraging countless older adults to join the center and experience the same sense of family and belonging that she treasures. She is truly a Seth Low warrior, fighting for community, connection, and the well-being of others.
Wellness & Active Aging: The Power of Dance
Ms. Davis is also celebrated as the “Queen of the Dance Hall,” known for lighting up every event with her energy, grace, and love of music. Dancing isn’t just fun—it’s one of the most effective forms of active aging. Studies show that regular dance supports cardiovascular health, balance, and coordination, while also stimulating memory and boosting mood. Social dancing, in particular, strengthens community bonds and keeps the spirit young.
Through her love of dance and her devotion to others, Ms. Davis embodies the Fort Greene Council mission—showing that aging is not about slowing down, but about moving forward with joy, purpose, and resilience.
We proudly honor Ms. Davis for her loyalty, leadership, and unwavering spirit, and we thank her for making Seth Low a place of warmth, laughter, and love.
