Willoughby Older Adult Club Honors Breast Cancer Awareness with “Think Pink” Tea Party 🎀💗

The Willoughby Older Adult Club in Downtown Brooklyn recently hosted a heartfelt Think Pink Tea Party, bringing together members, staff, and community supporters for a powerful afternoon dedicated to breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.

Surrounded by pink decorations, warm conversations, and uplifting energy, members gathered to honor survivors, support those currently battling breast cancer, and remember loved ones affected by it. Events like these highlight the strength of our community and the deep care our older adults have for one another.

The tea party combined education and celebration — offering resources on screenings, sharing stories of resilience, and reinforcing how crucial regular check-ups are for maintaining health and catching cancer early.

📍 Interested in becoming part of the Willoughby family?Stop by 105 N Portland Ave, Brooklyn for a FREE tour and learn how adults 60 and over can join at no cost. We’re always excited to welcome new members into our supportive and connected community.

Thank you to everyone who made this event meaningful, empowering, and full of heart. Together, we continue to fight, uplift, and promote health awareness across Brooklyn.
