This year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month brought a powerful and uplifting event to the Stuyvesant Heights Older Adult Club. Members gathered for an informative and heartwarming session led by Dr. Tanya Smith of the Hofstra Northwell School of Nursing — and it was nothing short of inspiring.
Dr. Smith guided the group through an engaging conversation focused on breast cancer awareness, prevention strategies, and the importance of early detection.
