We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our Fort Greene Council community — NYC Department for the Aging has officially launched its first-ever podcast, and we’re honored to be featured in the premiere episode!
🎙️ Introducing: Aging Out Loud with NYC Aging
Hosted by Commissioner Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, Aging Out Loud is a bold new podcast that brings real, thought-provoking conversations to the forefront of how we think about aging in New York City. The series tackles topics such as caregiving, ageism, community care, and how older adults are living, thriving, and leading vibrant lives across the five boroughs.
✨ Premiere Episode: “New York’s New Age: Aging in NYC”
We’re especially proud that the very first episode spotlights Claudette Macey, Executive Director/CEO of Fort Greene Council, Inc. Claudette joins Commissioner Cortés-Vázquez to discuss the unique experiences of aging in NYC and how organizations like Fort Greene Council are at the heart of building inclusive, supportive communities for older adults.
